Integrations / Webhooks

Outgoing webhooks — reports in your own system

Bugzio posts every new report as JSON to your HTTPS endpoint. It is the deliberate escape valve: when a tool has no integration of its own, the webhook stands in for it.

What it does

How it works

One event, a predictable structure, no extra authorisation dance.

One event — a new report

One event is sent today: the creation of a new report. Nothing on the receiving side has to tell events apart.

A predictable JSON structure

The body carries three blocks — report, project and workspace — with the identifiers you need to tie the data back to your own system.

HTTPS only, and no side effects

The address is only called when it starts with https. If the endpoint does not answer, the report is still saved and the failure goes to the log.

Data flow

What syncs, and in which direction

Two columns and no gloss: on the left what Bugzio sends, on the right what comes back.

Notifications

Bugzio → your endpoint

  • A POST with a JSON body for every new report.
  • The issue block: id, title, description, page address, reporter email, status, creation time and link.
  • The project block: id, name and project key.
  • The workspace block: id and name.

Your endpoint → Bugzio

  • There are no incoming webhook addresses yet: the response to the call is not processed.
  • Inbound traffic is limited to the ClickUp sync webhook, and Bugzio registers that one itself.

Setup

Three steps to working

You need one HTTPS address that accepts a POST request.

Prepare the endpoint

Build an address that accepts a POST with a JSON body and answers quickly. Addresses without HTTPS are never called.

Paste the address into Bugzio

Paste the webhook address into the notifications section of the workspace settings and save.

Send a test report

Create a report from the widget and check what arrives — it should match the example below.

Example: the event body

{
  "event": "issue.created",
  "issue": {
    "id": 1482,
    "title": "Checkout button does nothing on mobile",
    "description": "Tapping \"Pay\" on iPhone 14 does nothing.",
    "pageUrl": "https://example.com/checkout",
    "reporterEmail": "[email protected]",
    "status": "new",
    "createdAt": "2026-05-14T09:21:07+00:00",
    "url": "https://app.bugzio.com/lab/issues/1482"
  },
  "project": { "id": 12, "name": "example.com", "key": "EXMPL" },
  "workspace": { "id": 3, "name": "Studio" }
}

The values are invented, the structure is real. Fields may be added; the ones already here do not change meaning.

Outgoing webhooks are included from the Starter plan (€19 a month) and on every plan above it. See all plans →

Try it first

Every new account starts with a 14-day trial, and the number of reporters is never capped — an account is only needed by the people working in the panel.

The other integrations

If this is not the integration you came for, the rest are here — each with its own page and an honest description of which way the data moves.

Set it up once, and reports find their own way

The widget on your site, a report with all the technical data, and an integration that carries it to your team.
